Qualifying For The Invitational
The Run for the Dream Indoor Track and Field Invitational will be held at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA on Saturday, February 6, 2010.  To qualify there will be 6 qualifying competitions held on January 23rd, 2010 at various locations in California. Each individual location will have various entry fees (to be determined by the meet director). The top returnee from the 2009 California High School State Championship will be granted an exception into the Run For The Dream Meet if they are taking the SAT on January 23rd (proof required).

QUALIFYING:
The top 4 in each running event and relays, and the top 2 in all field events will be invited to run in the Run For The Dream Invitational on February 6th. All athletes who have qualified and wish to compete at the Run For The Dream High School Indoor Invitational must sign up on the day of the qualifying meet (January 23, 2010), and pay the entry fee (Individuals $25, Relays $100). There will be no late entry for the February 6th Invitational.

There will be a performance standard for each event for the athletes who do not qualify for the meet by place.

Special batons (gold, silver, bronze) will be given to the top 3 finishers in each event at the Run For The Dream High School Indoor Invitational (February 6th, 2010)

Meet Check-In/Warm Up

  • Competitors must check in with of the clerk at the Clock Tower located at the South East Corner of the Save Mart Center (click here for map).
  • Competitors will be escorted from this location to their event approximately 45 minutes prior to their event for final warm-up and competition. Pole Vaulters will be escorted 1.5 hours prior to their event for final warm-up and competition.
